Ward Map

Former Ward 21 is Now Ward 19

The new ward boundaries effective January 4th reduced the number of Cleveland wards from 21 to 19, with Kamm’s Corners now being Ward 19. Minimal boundary changes occurred here.

“We lost some neighbors to the southeast and gained others to the northeast,” explained Councilman Marty Keane in our most recent magazine. If you have any questions about the changes, he invites you to call his office at 216-941-9509. See all the new ward maps here.

Census 2010

Be Counted in 2010!

The 2010 Census will be a snapshot of our nation’s population, capturing our American population in a fleeting moment in time. But this historic event will do more than tell us who we are as a nation today. It will affect each community’s future.

The U.S. Census determines the distribution of more than $400 billion annually to state and local governments, based on census data. One of the shortest census forms in history, the 2010 Census form asks only 10 questions and take about 10 minutes to complete -- easy, important, and safe. Your participation is vital to creating a better future for you and those important to you!

If you have any questions, or would like to learn more about jobs at the U.S. Census Bureau, please contact them at 1-866-861-2010, or for more information about the 2010 United States Census visit their website.

Get Your Big Daddy’s Cheesesteak in Kamm’s

The burgeoning number of eateries in Downtown Kamm’s Corners now includes Big Daddy’s Cheesesteak, at 16804 Lorain Avenue, the former Top Dog location. Opened this week, the casual restaurant features a robust cheese steak sandwich that's a hit! Owner Jason Noyes will substitute chicken as an alternative to beef if requested. The menu includes hearty sandwiches, salads, and soups that change daily, such as Cajun Yam Bisque, Chicken Chili, and Roasted Cauliflower Bisque. “Soon I’ll be adding pulled pork, stuffed cabbages, and more!” said Jason. Hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday with late nights on weekends, midnight or later, depending on demand.
