Fairview Hospital Achieves Magnet Status. In January, Fairview Hospital was notified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center that it received Magnet Status, the highest national award for nursing excellence. Fairview Hospital is the first Cleveland Clinic regional hospital to receive the Magnet designation. Only 5% of the nation’s hospitals have received Magnet designation.

The prestigious award was bestowed after nearly 3,500 pages of submitted documentation followed by a three-day on-site inspection by Magnet appraisers.

Independent studies have shown that patients who receive care at Magnet hospitals have a shorter length of stay and higher satisfaction rates.

Congratulations to the nurses and staff at Fairview Hospital!
