The Downtown Kamms Corners Holiday Lighting Contest resulted in decorated storefronts from Dunkin’ Donuts to Charter One Bank, along Lorain Avenue. With so many lovely displays, selecting the winner was a challenge. First place went to West Park Station, for their exterior of white icicle lights hanging from front awnings, a miniature pine forest across the outdoor patio, and front windows featuring colorfully lighted trees and wreaths. Jason Salupo, proprietor, will receive a framed award and $100 CertifiCheck, redeemable for goods or services at local participating merchants.

Shop Kamms! With the holidays upon us, please reward our local neighborhood merchants with your business. Think before you drive out of the neighborhood to go shopping. Have your parties here. Buy your services and gifts here. Keep your dollars here and the merchants will stay here too. And, thanks for returning to Rego’s for your holiday shopping needs. A.J. Rego reports that sales are up thanks to the wonderful support from the neighborhood.
