Sign up for Kamm's Corners Farmers Market News!

The Kamm’s Corners Farmers Market beckons you every Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to buy locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, cheese, honey, herbs, and flowering plants! Breakfast and lunch are available, too. New farmers and a larger variety of produce are arriving every week. In July, expect blackberries, blueberries, summer squash, buttercup squash, raspberries, and heirloom tomatoes.

Purchase goods from Conneaut Creek Farm, Cosmic Dream Farm, Emerald Necklace Inn, George Jones Farm, Hooper Farm, HW Organic Farms, Infinite Garden Farm, Jorgensen's Apiary, O'Donnell Irish Fare, Ohio Farm Direct, Puritas Nursery, Rego's Fresh Market, White Family Farm, and Wonder City Farm. Every purchase earns you valuable coupons good for discounts at Kamm’s Plaza.

The market features live entertainment - see the entertainment schedule. Jeff Sherman will be performing this Sunday, July 1st. Also this Sunday, Fairview Hospital’s Wellness Center will present a Jazzercize demonstration at 10:30 a.m., and this week's cooking show is by West Park Station.

On the third Sunday of every month, horse drawn wagon rides travel through the neighborhood during market hours courtesy of YesterYear Horse and Carriage Inc. Bring the kids and join in the fun. Only $1 per person to ride.

There’s always something new to experience at the Kamm’s Corners Farmers Market! Click here to see a gallery of pictures from the market, and learn more about our location, sponsors, and events.

The West Park/Kamm’s Corners 4th of July Parade, presented by the Kiwanis Club of West Park, Inc., steps off from Kamm’s Plaza at 9:30 a.m. sharp on Wednesday. Join your neighbors and friends along the 2-mile long parade route, running from Kamm’s Plaza going east on Lorain Avenue to West Park Road, which curves back to Rocky River Drive. The parade continues south on Rocky River Drive and returns to the plaza. Bring your children and a bag for all the free candy and treats!

Asphalt Cinema is back for a fifth summer! More than 300 people watched Happy Feet on June 15th—see the photo gallery. Two more free outdoor movies are yours to enjoy under the stars on the 3rd Fridays in July and August. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for Charlotte’s Web on July 20th, sponsored by the Ohio Lottery. Mark your calendar to join us in the parking lot at West 168th Street off of Lorain Avenue, starting at 6:30 p.m. The movie begins at dusk, but children's activities and prizes—compliments of our Downtown Kamm’s Corners merchants—provide plenty to do beforehand. Free balloon creatures, a bubble gum blowing contest, and sponsor give-aways add to the fun. Over the Hedge will be shown on August 17th.

Hundreds came out for our 30th KCDC Annual Town Meeting on May 30th featuring Mayor Frank G. Jackson. Click here for photos. Other speakers included former councilman Michael A. Dolan, current Ward 21 councilman Martin J. Keane, and KCDC Executive Director Steve Lorenz. Saint Joseph Academy hosted the event and Academy President Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis gave the invocation and said a few words. KCDC Board President James Foos also spoke and he presented the Bob Bohr Award for Community Safety to two Fairview Hospital employees for having saved a woman from jumping off the Fairview Viaduct. Community Improvement Awards were presented to Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits and to West Park Station. Fairview Hospital provided the refreshments. More than 20 prizes were given away by our local merchants.
