Santa Visits Kamm’s Corners on Friday, December 7! The magic begins at 6 p.m. under the clock in Downtown Kamm’s Corners at Lorain Avenue and Rocky River Drive. Cecilia’s Song, an a cappella choir from Saint Joseph Academy, will sing a medley of holiday tunes. Everyone will be invited to join in the caroling until Santa arrives by horse-drawn sleigh to greet the crowd. Then all will follow Santa for a Candy Land-themed Winter Wonderland from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. inside Kamms Plaza. Enjoy the Rainbow Path journey to Gum Drop Mountain, Licorice Forest, Lollipop Woods, and Snow Flake Lake. At Peanut Acres, see if you are an instant winner of a Door Prize Giveaway. In the Magical Castle, children will get their complementary pictures taken with Santa & Mrs. Claus. This free event is sponsored by Kamms Plaza Shopping Center with the cooperation of KCDC. Horse-drawn carriage rides travel around Kamms Plaza parking lot on Friday nights beginning at Winter Wonderland on December 7th and then on December 14 and 21. Click here to view the flyer.

Free round-trip horse-drawn carriage rides travel down Lorain Avenue! Queue up under the tower corner at Kamms Plaza to make a happy holiday memory with your family or friends. On three consecutive Thursday evenings starting December 6, free horse-drawn carriage rides will leave Kamms Plaza from 6 p.m. to 7:35 p.m. and travel down Lorain Avenue, compliments of the auto dealerships in our neighborhood and the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers Association. The folks at Ganley Chevrolet, Ganley Dodge West, and Ganley Ford West all want you to enjoy this special holiday treat. Please reward them with your business.

The Downtown Kamm’s Corners Holiday Lighting Contest is underway. Look for decorated storefronts from Dunkin’ Donuts to Charter One Bank, along Lorain Avenue. The winner will receive a framed award and $100 CertifiCheck, redeemable for goods or services at local participating merchants.

Shop Kamm’s! With the holidays upon us, please reward our local neighborhood merchants with your business. Think before you drive out of the neighborhood to go shopping. Have your parties here. Buy your services and gifts here. Keep your dollars here and the merchants will stay here too.

To promote spending in the neighborhood, KCDC has teamed up with CertifiChecks to offer an easy and convenient gift-giving solution for everyone on your holiday list. Kamm's Corners Gift Certificates are delivered directly to you in festive envelopes, ready to hand out at your holiday party or get-together.
