4th Annual “Trains of Puritas Nursery” Free and Open for Public Viewing through New Year’s Day. For the fourth consecutive year, a landscaped holiday model train display captures the spirit of the season and brings out the kid in all of us. A nine-foot by thirty-two foot flower bench has been transformed into a beautifully landscaped HO train layout with two trains chugging through hills and valleys of live trees, shrubs, and flowing water. In addition to the main display, there is a dedicated “Thomas the Tank Engine” layout featuring push buttons allowing children to control the train’s motion, and a large G-gauge train layout as well. Children delight in using the carpeted “tunnel” provided at the midpoint of the display as a kids-only shortcut to cross from one side of the layout to the other. Cameras are welcome. The size and extent of the display makes for great family photos and cherished holiday memories for years to come. Pictures with Santa Claus and the trains are available from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 9th and 16th. The pictures with Santa are provided free of charge with any purchase. A photo gallery of the layout may be viewed here. Date: Now through December 31, 2006
