Re$tore Cleveland incorporates both the philosophy of the National Trust for Historic Preservations Main Street Program and the local market realities of physical development. The program follows the Main Street principals of design, promotion, organization and economic restructuring and adds additional components related to urban issues including safety and diversity.
Downtown Kamms Corners consists of retail spaces on both sides of Lorain Avenue from West 162nd to West 176th Streets. Action committees work to showcase district assets, develop special events, improve commercial properties, and market the district to new businesses and shoppers.
Asphalt Cinema is one of the successful special events presented by Downtown Kamms Corners. If you are interested in participating on a committee to promote the Kamms Corners commercial district, please contact Cindy Janis at 216-252-6559 ext. 12 or cindy.janis at kammscorners.com.
