Albers Building

Available For Lease: 17019-25 Lorain Avenue

Kamm's Corners Development Corporation (KCDC) recently acquired the pictured commercial building on Lorain Avenue with plans to completely renovate and retenant it. In keeping with many of the buiding upgrades in the neighborhood, KCDC will work with the City of Cleveland's Storefront Renovation Program staff to put together a significant exterior renovation package and will market the building to retail, service, and office tenants. West Park's Homecoming Celebration featured great food, live music, children's shows & activities, Irish dancers, pipes & drums, and more. Rocky River Drive Master Plan Meeting

Rocky River Drive Master Plan

On the evening of May 13th, approximately 50 people attended a community meeting at St. Patrick’s Church for a presentation of the preliminary recommendations  for a new plan for Rocky River Drive (from Lorain Avenue to Brookpark Road). In response to requests from neighborhood residents, the meeting was convened to give the community a second opportunity to review and comment on the plan’s preliminary recommendations. Annual Town Meeting Is June 16, at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph Academy will host the 38th Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m. at the school, located at 3470 Rocky River Drive. Please join us! The event is free and parking is plentiful. There will be presentations, awards, and refreshments. Click here for details.

West Park Kiwanis Club Independence Day Parade Info Is Here

Download the parade application here to participate in this popular parade, stepping off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. Please note that fees have increased and must be received by the West Park Kiwanis Club on or before June 20. The Parade Marshall this year is Mary Ann Corrigan-Davis, President of St. Joseph Academy. Read parade details and find contact information in the application.

West Park to Participate in GardenWalk Cleveland This Summer

A free, self-guided tour of more than 200 private gardens, farms, vineyards, and orchards in several Cleveland neighborhoods takes place the weekend of July 11 & 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you are interested in showcasing your home flower garden, community garden, or urban farm, or would like to volunteer to help organize the event locally, please e-mail David Horneck at dhorneck1@gmail.com.

It's West Park's first time participating in GardenWalk Cleveland, so let's show the region what beautiful gardens we have!

2015 LiveCLEVELAND Guide Features Eight Pages on West Park

More than 57,000 copies of LiveCLEVELAND! are being distributed with the May 2015 edition of Cleveland Magazine. Through targeted marketing efforts by Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and other neighborhood development organizations, the special section promotes living, working, and visiting Cleveland.

This year, KCDC and BPDC worked together to feature West Park in an eight-page color pull-out available online, here. Reprints are also available in our offices for pick-up.
